All our jewelry are handcrafted and made of sterling silver 925. For its plating we use K18 and white rhodium plating.
Sterling silver is a precious metal and may require cleaning from time to time. With proper care, your silver jewelry will retain its beauty and character forever.

Gold plating is a thin layer of 18k gold, plated over a piece of solid Sterling Silver jewelry. Gold plating will eventually wear off, revealing the silver beneath. Earrings and necklaces will keep their plating longer than rings.

Plating will wear off faster on rings that are worn everyday. To minimize the wear of plating please avoid contact with water, perfumes, antiseptics, liquid soap and rough surfaces. Plated jewelry does not tarnish like silver. If you would like to have your piece re-plated, please email us or bring your piece to our store for servicing. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges for re-plating.

Tarnish or darkening of the metal, is caused by oxidization of the surface layer of metal. It occurs over time with exposure to air and moisture. Wearing your jewelry in the water or during bathing will speed up tarnishing. Storing your jewelry in a dry airtight container will inhibit tarnish.
