AKANTHA

This collection seeks inspiration from the point of the fabled spear Akanthus. Telegonus travels in search of the father he never met, unwittlingly killing Odysseus during an unexpected confrontation, using a spear which had been tipped with the venomous point of a stingray. The epithet Odysseus Akanthoplex is derived from this circumstance.
